Dome Hills Station, Livingstone, North Otago, New Zealand

I cannot speak highly enough of the experience, or of the hospitality we received from Cindy and David Douglas, and the staff at Dome Hills. It went way beyond "customer service" – we felt as if we were good family friends!

The lodge was a wonderful place to stay – huge comfy beds, big open fire, fresh flowers, and wonderful views of the mountains. The property itself is stunning – everything you would expect from being in the high country, and more.

I fell in love with it all – the land, the air, the horses, the people, the peace, and most of all, the warmth and generosity of spirit. We will definitely be back.
